New York, the perfect bites
All right lets start off with my all time favorites, lets say you want to plan a perfect weekend in New York. This will be a mix of basic places and hidden gems.
Day 1: Breakfast at solid state coffee on the upper west side, order the breakfast plate, a cappuccino and after that stroll around in Central Park and enjoy one of the more quiet and peaceful neighborhoods of New York. Note: I would not order matcha here.
Lunch : Walk across the park to Sant Ambroeus on Madison Avenue, shop around and get a table at this classic upper east side institution. (note: there are other locations but I find this one to be my personal favorite) Chic and delicious, if Cipriani is a place you enjoy think of Sant Ambroeus as their little sister dressed in pink. One can appreciate ginori plates, classic Italian dishes and good service. Hence why I truly enjoy this restaurant. Sometimes all I want is a gelato and an iced matcha to go or maybe I want to sit down with my parents after Sunday mass and enjoy a veal Milanese and this is the place for that. Order whatever you are in the mood for because honestly the whole menu is great but I especially enjoy their bolognese, veal Milanese and mustard chicken. BY NO MEANS SKIP DESSERT, when you walk in it almost doubles as a pastry shop if you notice the long glass window of biscotti, cakes and entremet desserts. My fav: tiramisu or prinicipessa cake or an espresso with biscotti after lunch.
